28 August 2010
The first content session I’m attending at OpenCamp is by Gio, aka Giovanni Gallucci, a longtime search and social media marketer based in Dallas. The topic is “Blackhat SEO” and the room is packed! The session was cut a bit short due to technical difficulties with getting the conference started and Gio took it in [...]SEO Basics Telephone Game the Fresh vs New Content Debate
08 July 2010
There’s a game of telephone going on about a hundred different theories of Search Engine Optimization and the influences or signals that affect search visibility. One that I continue to hear revolves around the notion that search engines like fresh content. I’m sure the genesis was something like: Someone told someone else at a conference [...]6 Tips on Image SEO
11 June 2010

28 May 2010
A spate of books about marketing your business with social media have been released in the last few months. I usually end up with a copy of most of them. I realized I have two copies of two brand new books: Facebook Marketing An Hour a Day by my friend Mari Smith and Chris Treadaway, and The Complete Idiot's Guide to Social Media Marketing by Jennifer Abernethy (I really dislike titles that imply you're a dummy or an idiot!). Jennifer interviewed me about blogging for her book and gave me a shout out in the acknowledgments which was very kind....4 Opportunities to Assure Your Business Thrives

12 July 2010
As a longtime customer of PRWeb, I’ve seen many changes over the years. The oldest optimized press release I could find of mine that’s still online dates back to mid 2001 and in the years since, it’s been an evolving relationship moving from customer to consultant. From the days of talking new features as a [...]Tell All QA With Google’s Maile Ohye – SES Toronto Keynote

With my recent focus on the Radiant Success Event and the Social Media Success Summit, I nearly forgot to let you know about another top training opportunity you cannot afford to miss. This note has some urgency because the event is nearly sold out (capped at 185 participants)...B2B Search Engine Optimization Focus on Content SEO
